The big news for this year is that we have received up to $115,000 from the Federal Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program to improve a section of Gordon Creek in Iowa County. See Gordon Creek below.

In additon our Special Projects Chair, Mike Grimes marshals impressive forces throughout the hospitable months to address a wide range of local stream improvements. Chosen Saturdays, 8-noon with lunch provided.

Our spring workdays will be March 22, April 19, and May 10. Final details will be posted on the front page and on this page as the times draw near. Generally we've been clearing overhanging trees and creating sweepers on Black Earth Creek. Contact mgrimes17@charter.net
