TU DARE
National Trout Unlimited has targeted our area as the focus of a major stream restoration effort, called the Driftless Area Restoration Effort. See brochure.
Our efforts on Gordon Creek have been along the lines of TU DARE and other chapters in the area are also doing extensive restorations. See, for instance, the Nohr Chapter website, or the Leopold Chapter website.
Since most members fish other places as well as Dane County, opportunities to help out other chapters on their projects may be of interest and consistent with the regional effort of TU DARE.
As opportunities arise they'll be posted on this website or you can check the chapter websites or internet bulletin boards(see Internet Resources) for dates and times.
